Wags & Whiskers Wednesday (Thanksgiving Edition)

Gobble Gobble!  Happy Thanksgiving!

I hope all of you are taking some time off to spend with your family (two and four legged!) this week.  If your dog is like most, he or she will be giving you “the look” while you and the fam are sitting down to feast. (You know “the look” – that SUPER cute, big-eyed look that pups give you when they want a taste of what you’re munching on.)  I’ve read so many articles and blogs instructing me to not feed my dog ANYTHING from my Thanksgiving table.  Let me tell you right now – that’s just not going to happen.  (Who’s with me?)  Just remember that dogs (just like us!) need everything in moderation….so make sure that your aunt, cousin, brother, AND mother aren’t all slipping Fido turkey under the table.  Do steer clear of feeding your pooch onions, garlic, chocolate, and anything that might be raw or under cooked.  Veggies are always a good option!
